About Barossa and Light Cab Service
Barossa and Light Cab Service has been proudly serving the people of the Barossa Valley region and its visitors since 2001 when it was trading under the name of Goldstar Chauffeured Vehicles.
In January 2009 the taxis were removed from the Goldstar name to trade independently under the new name of Barossa and Light Cab Service.
In August 2009 Barossa and Light Cab Service was sold by the original owners to the current owner Greg Helbig. The profile of the business has been further developed by offering both locals and visitors a competitive, efficient and safe means of transport.
Our fleet of Barossa taxis consists of 7 seater and 4 seater vehicles. The vehicles are fully air conditioned and are well maintained in order to provide a comfortable and reliable taxi service to our customers.
Our taxi service is on call 7 days a week (Sunday to Thursday to midnight and Friday & Saturday to 3.00 AM the next morning). In the mornings we start at 9.00 AM on weekdays and 10.00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
It is our commitment to make sure that ALL phone calls between these hours are answered promptly.
Its also important to note that we DO work outside of these hours, but ONLY for advanced bookings and emergencies.
Our drivers rotate between the weekly shifts with each driver working no more than 3 shifts per week for any individual driver. This means all of our drivers are always fresh and alert. The safety of Barossa and Light Cab Service’s customers is vitally important to us all.
Our rates are very competitive. You can contact us for a quote or set price. Our Barossa taxi fares have remained the same since July 2009 and are still current today.
We also undertake to match or better any genuine alternative quote.
